Beth was one of a kind. Not only a great person but one of the best nurses that I knew. I loved her passion for the Clinical Nurse Specialist role and for always wanting to do what was right for patients, families, and staff. I'm going to miss her telling me she's doing "just peachy" and being able to talk about our shared connection in having lived in Alaska. She impacted a lot of people and the world is a better place because of her. I offer my most sincere condolences to her family and close friends.

Beth was one of the best bosses I ever had! She came to Sitka and was the head nurse at our little community hospital.She was caring, knowledgeable, and an all around great person.

Dear Beth, I will miss you so much.We didn't always see eye to eye,but that's ok, that's how life is and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Like two old Irish wash women butting heads but we still got along.

Our family was fortunate enough to visit Aunt Beth (and Uncle Dan) back in March. We’ll never forget her generosity and how she loved having family visit. Our boys made so many core memories on that trip that’ll last a lifetime. We are still numb from the news of her passing, as we were preparing for her to stay with us again in a few days for family reunions. Our fold-out couch will always be known as “Aunt Beth’s bed”, as Lincoln called it.

We wish Uncle Dan finds peace and comfort at this difficult time.

Beth had many nicknames as she grew up from Petey Bird as a child to Erma as she got older,Dr.Norman and yes even nurse nazi.But she took them all in stride because she only wanted the best for her brother and sisters.I always loved teasing her and getting her goat as they say but I'm pretty sure she was the one getting me a lot of the time. Although as we grew older we didn't get to see each other as much as we should I always cherished the time I did get to spend with her. I will miss her dearly.My love to her and Dan always,love your big bubba
