Joshua Mark Comfort

Joshua Mark Comfort was born March 11th, 1989. He was a free spirited, loving, and kind boy. Josh always had an extra beat in his step and was full of enthusiasm with a smile that radiated. Josh was always passionate towards his family and was always the first to stand up for what he believed in to protect the ones he loved. Josh was a little comedian always cracking a joke, saying or doing something silly just to get a laugh or a smile. Josh hated to disappoint, even while he was battling his own demons he was focused on his family, friends, and being the best daddy he could be to his beautiful little girl. Josh had high hopes, dreams, and goals for his future. He wanted to do something with animals, go to school, and had even talked about joining Law Enforcement, thanks to the un-conditional support, respect, and encouragement Scappoose Police and all the local Law Enforcement agencies showed him. He wanted to help people that had troubles; it was something he was passionate about because he could relate. In the mean time Josh worked for and alongside his dad, which was something he loved to do. All Josh ever wanted to do was help people and make them smile; Josh had a heart of gold. Josh loved to travel, explore, and try new things. He was a beautiful person inside and out and will be missed greatly. God only takes the best and the best was indeed taken that Friday morning. Although, we will be grieving the loss of our sweet boy we have yet another angel un-like any other watching over us. We will pull our strength from his memory and love, in order to give and appreciate more. Josh is survived by his father Mark Comfort, mother Karla & Step-dad Frank Dottl, sisters Kaysha Comfort and Austa Lord; Brother Jacob Comfort; Daughter, Kaycee Bell Comfort And Kaycee Bell's mother Aubree Williams. Josh is welcomed into heaven by his brother John Holmason and Momma-Kon Comfort. This has been a tragic loss, and he will be missed greatly.
