Scott Alan Moffett

May 10, 1966 - January 19, 2022

Scott Alan Moffett passed away January 19th, 2022 at home with his loving wife by his side. He fought a courageous battle for 18 months! Scott was born on May 10, 1966 in St Helens, Oregon. After High School Scott worked a myriad of different jobs eventually finding his niche working in the trucking industry. He was employed at CPS Logistics Trucking Company, working as long as he could before having to retire because of his illness. This was so difficult as he so enjoyed “his guys”! In his off-time Scott loved building! He was an over achiever when it came to building! You just have to look at the beautiful deck he built or the ponds that he designed and constructed! He also loved gardening. The last vegetable garden he put in produced enough for 5 families! That was Scott, go big or go home! Scott married the love of his life, Beth on October 15, 2011. They blended their families and Scott always said, I don’t have stepchildren, they’re just my children. Scott is survived by his wife, Beth Moffett. Daughters, Myriah Wright & Kyrsten Nothwang. Sons, Scotty Jr. & Daniel Nothwang. His mother and Stepfather, Linda & Duane Fritz, Stepmother, Marilyn Moffett. Father-In-Law, Sonny Bassham. Sisters, Tammy Sullivan (Jimmy), Darci Hall, D’Ann Garcia (Dan), Sarah Bassham & Carrie Nugent. Brothers, Shawn Moffett & Cliff Hall (Patti) Grandchildren, Ashton Tabada, Paisley Nothwang, Landon Nothwang and several nieces and nephews. Scott was also very close to his Aunt & Uncle Mike & Lisa DeLashmit. Scott was preceded in death by his father Robert Moffett & Mother-In-Law Cheryl Bassham. Scott’s service will be held February 19, 2022 at Warren Community Fellowship at 11:30 AM with a luncheon to follow.
