Ada Louise Lungberg's Obituary
Ada Louise Lungberg was born on March 19, 1930 in Nampa, Idaho to Harvey & Dorothy Riggs Hughes.
She died at a St. Helens assisted living center on November 11, 2006 at the age of 76.
She moved to the Yankton area in 1941. She attended schools here and graduated from St. Helens High School in 1947, which was the old Condon Elementary School. After High School she went on to Beauty School. She was a self-employed beautician for years working at Lorraine's Beauty Shop and Meadow Park Nursing Home as a beautician.
She married Gordon T. Lungberg in Vancouver, WA. on December 2, 1949.
She was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was active in the relief society. She also volunteered at the Senior Center.
Her enjoyments included gardening, playing bingo, collecting antiques and the ocean.
She is survived by Husband of 52 years; Tim Lungberg; Son & Daughter-in-law: Kelly & Melissa Lungberg; 2 grandsons: Adam & Travis Lungberg; granddaughter: Amber Lungberg-all of St. Helens; Brother: Mitchell Hughes of Raymond, WA.
Preceded in death by her father in 1948, mother in 1992, brother: Teddy Hughes in 1988, sister: Viola Gortler in 2004 and son: John Lungberg in 2005.
Graveside service & vault interment: Bethany Memorial Cemetery-Warren, OR.; Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 11:00 AM
