Adam Miles Daggett's Obituary
Adam Miles Daggett, 23 of St. Helens passed away Sunday, October 11rh in Portland, Oregon.
Adam was born to Chuck and Michele Dills Daggett in Yakima, Washington on August 7, 1986. Adam attended school in Aberdeen, Washington where he lived until 2008 when he moved to St. Helens.
Adam was an outdoorsmen at heart. Five of Adam's young years were spent in North Dakota where his love for the outdoors grew. He was happiest with a fishing pole in his hands. From a very young age Adam would get up before the sun to fish all day. He had great patience with fishing and life. It was not the act of catching a fish, although that was great, it was the solitude of the moment, being one with nature that Adam loved. He was truly in his element when camping and fishing. This was a love that he learned from his dad and shared with his brothers. Adam his brother Josh would often go fishing all day. One was never without the other. Adam was there when his brother Justin learned to fish, holding the pole and showing him the best spots.
As the oldest of 4 children, he was the great protector. He took his role as a big brother very seriously. It has been said many time that although Josh was bigger than Adam, you had to get through Adam to get to Josh. Adam and Josh were more than brothers, they were best friends. As adults they did everything together, but it did not start as adults they have been that way their whole lives. Between riding and racing quads as kids to fishing for crawdads crawfish.
Adam often made time for his sister Gabriele. Most young men would not have spent an evening alone with their ten-year-old sister watching Disney movies and eating pizza, but Adam would always have the time for Gabriele. But that was Adam, one of the most kind hearted people you could ever meet. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was never afraid to tell you that he loved you and hug you tight when you parted.
Adam had many talents. He was known for his abilities with electronic devices. Rather it be the newest type of phone or video game system, Adam could make it work to its fullest potential. He was often asked to aid friends and family with their electronic gadgets.
Ad is survived by his parents, Chuck and Michele Daggett, his siblings Josh of St. Helens, Justin and Gabrielle of Vancouver, his grandmothers' Linda Daggett of Poulse, WA, Chantel Mike West of Nampa, Id., Dyana Dills and Angela Chris Morales of Wapato, WA, cousins Melissa, Alysha, Gretchen, and Michael Daggett, Sean West, Alexandra and Anthony Ayon, Sophia and Mya Morales, and numerous great aunt and uncles.
