Alan D. Hadley's Obituary
Alan D. Hadley was born on November 22, 1923 in New England, Ohio to Samuel & Elizabeth Raper Hadley.
He died at Community Health Hospice in Longview, WA. on May 16, 2004 at the age of 80.
He was in the Army during WWII. Married to Ladoris Benzel on August 13, 1947 in Ohio. She preceded him in death on 4/15/96.
He received a 4 yr. degree in Forestry from Washington State University, graduating in 1951.
He worked for as a quality assurance representative for the Defense Dept. of the U.S. Government for 21 1/2 years.
He was a master gardener.
Survived by Son: Timothy Hadley of Scappoose, OR.; Daughter: Elizabeth Hadley of Ocean Park, WA.; brother: Sam Hadley and sister: Irene Born both of New Philadelphia, Ohio; 2 grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Friday 5/21/04 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens, OR.
Private interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland, OR.
