Alice Aileen Viles' Obituary
Alice Aileen Viles was born on July 9, 1927 in Camas, WA. to Chester & Josephine Simmons Viles.
She died at a Portland hospital on November 9, 2006 at the age of 79.
She was educated in Ilwaco, WA. and graduated in 1946.
She married Forrest Viles on May 21, 1954 in Stevenson, WA.; they lived in Portland for awhile before moving to Scappoose in 1961 until present.
She was a homemaker and a member of the ladies auxillary of the VFW Post 4362 in Scappoose. She was a Protestant and had attended Chapman Community Church. She was active in the Cub Scouts and Girls Scouts when her kids were growing up. More recently she volunteered at the VA Hospital in Portland and was big into geneology search.
Survivors include: Husband: Forrest Viles; Sons: Rick, Brian and Gary Viles all of Scappoose; Daughters: Cheryl Loupe of Columbia City; Diane Chenier of West Jordan, UT.; Siblings: William Stevens of Kelso, WA.; Chester Stevens of Ocean Park, WA.; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
Celebration of Life: Monday, November 13, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies Auxillary of VFW Lodge 4362-Scappoose.
