Alice C. Frigaard's Obituary
Alice C. Frigaard was born on January 16, 1917 in Hanks, N. Dakota to Julius & Johanna Dordal Schenstad.
She died at a St. Helens assisted living center on June 30, 2007 at the age of 90.
Alice was educated and graduated from Grenora Hi School in Grenora, N. Dakota in 1935.
She married Andrew Frigaard on December 16, 1939 in Osakis, Minnesota. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1991.
They farmed in Cooperstown, North Dakota for a time and then moved to Portland in 1964, living there until moving to St. Helens on December 7, 1970 and living here until present.
Alice was a homemaker, raising eight children. She was a member of First Lutheran Church where she was in the quilting club. She also enjoyed gardening, writing, sewing and she was a Portland Trailblazer Fan.
Survivors include: Judy Johnson of Scappoose; Carol Shackelford of Warren; Ron Frigaard of St. Helens; Marvin Frigaard of Medford, OR.; Alice Myers of Binford, N. Dakota; Lorraine Briscoe of Portland, OR.; Harvey Frigaard of Roy, Utah; Preceded in death by Daughter: Kathy Frigaard in 2004; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

Committal service & vault interment: Bethany Memorial Cemetery-Warren, OR.
