When our mother, Reba was battling cancer Alice came to Mississippi and spent a month or so spending time with and helping take of her which our family was so grateful. May SHE REST IN PEACE
The family in Mississippi was always excited when we knew that Aunt Alice was on her way! We would get to see some of our cousins if they came to visit with her, but I hate that we never got to see all of them at one time! We waited in hopeful anticipation at every "Grandma's Birthday" celebration to see if we would be lucky enough to win one of Aunt Alice's quilts.
Aunt Alice always embodied the love of Christ for His children in that she loved each of us with compassion--no judgment but with lots of prayers! To our cousins, we pray that God gives you the peace of knowing that Aunt Alice is truly resting with her Saviour. She will definitely be missed!

She was a tower of strength and love. When my grandmother , her sister, Reba was in the hospital in her final days . I will never forget her there at the hospital with me comforting me and loving us all. What an amazing woman she was.
Oh, so many fond memories of Alice. She was such a kind and loving friend.
At our Warren Baptist women's retreats and potluck we could always count on Alice's coconut cake and dill pickles. She was so generous with her lap quilts she would send on mission trips and Portland missions. If you were ever in her home, you wouldn't forget her quilting frame that would be pulled up to the ceiling to seat guests. Such a lovely lady. She will be missed.
