Ardis J. Boylan's Obituary
Ardis J. Boylan was born on July 10, 1926 in St. Helens, Oregon to James & Mary Hulen Harris.
She died at a Portland hospital on August 17, 2009 at the age of 83.
Ardis attended schools in St. Helens and lived here most of her life. She also married Vincent Boylan in St. Helens on November 12, 1943.
During her working years she was employed at the bag factory, Brandenfelds, the Searight Dry Cleaners and her favorite was a cook on the H.D. Campbell Tugboat from Rangell, Alaska with her husband.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and her interests included cooking, shopping, reading, jigsaw & crossword puzzles, but most of all her grandkids and family.
Ardis is survived by her Husband: Captain Vincent Boylan; Daughter & son-in-law: Ardis & John Nissen all of Vancouver, WA.; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; preceded in death by a son: Vince J.C. Boylan.
Celebration of Life: Monday, August 31, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens
