Arlene M. Younce's Obituary
Arlene M. Younce was born on March 10, 1924 in Clatskanie, Oregon to Fred & Agnes Burnham Johnson.
She died at her daughters home in Beaverton on March 23, 2007 at the age of 83.
She attended schools and graduated from Hi school in Clatskanie, Oregon. She lived here for most of her life.
She married Spencer Younce on January 12, 1968 in Hillsboro. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1994.
She worked for a number of years at Brandenfels Enterprises, PSI Company and as a Supervisor for Riverside Enterprises.
She was a member of Warren Baptist Church, Past President of the Scappoose Lions Club. She enjoyed fishing, woodworking, ceramics and reading. Early on she decorated cakes.
Survivors include: Children: Barbara Korhonen of Brush Prairie, WA.; Frank Johnson of Rainier, OR.; Sandra Harbison of St. Helens; Michael Johnson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Brenda Rhine of Beaverton; Stepchildren: Loretta Riddell of Astoria; Spencer Younce, Jr. of New Mexico.; Ron Younce of Ridgefield, WA.; Siblings: Fred "Bud" Johnson of Clatskanie; David Johnson of Eugene, OR.; Mark Minkoff of Centralia, WA.; Linda Harcombe of White Salmon, WA.; 24 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
Viewing & visitation: 9-6 Wednesday at Columbia Funeral Home
Funeral Service: Thursday, 3/29/07 at 11:00 AM at Warren Baptist Church.
Committal service & vault interment: Murray Hill Cemetery-Clatskanie, OR.
