Arlene Norma Young April 27, 1935 ~ May 30, 2017
Arlene Norma Young, age 82, passed away peacefully with family at her bedside on May 30, 2017. She was born in Oakland, California on April 27, 1935 to Albert and Naomi Wedell.
Arlene had a strong faith and unwavering love of the Lord and her family. People would gravitate towards her, as she charmed them with her quirky humor, big heart, and generosity. It was said she never met a stranger. She could easily cook up a full course meal, silver dollar sourdough pancakes, or take you out for her favorite drink: Manhattan up.
Arlene is survived by her children Troy Lodi of Klamath Falls, Oregon; Keith Young of Gresham, Oregon; Leslie Young of Portland, Oregon; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who love and miss her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to a cancer charity of your choice in memory of Arlene.
