Arthur Louis Morrison April 5, 1969 ~ September 24, 2016
Arthur Louis Morrison passed away on September 24, 2016 in Columbia City, at the age of 47.
Arthur was born on April 5, 1969, in Anchorage, Alaska to Julian Wayne Morrison and Karen Pauline (Kessler) Morrison.
Arthur received a Certificate of High School Completion from Mead High School in Spokane, Washington.
Arthur had moved around the Pacific Northwest, and also spent time in Anchorage and Wasilla, Alaska. He had recently moved to a group home with his friends in Columbia City, Oregon where he spent the happiest days of his life. Books were his passion, particularly ones with beautiful pictures, he also loved people and social events. He loved camping with friends and family. He enjoyed the water, particularly the water at Great Wolf Lodge. Arthur eagerly attended Warren Community Fellowship and especially enjoyed the music and friendships he developed.
Arthur is survived by his siblings, Karen Colleen Grogan (St. Helens, Oregon), Dale Wayne Morrison (Ballard, Washington), John Allen Morrison (Chesapeake, Virginia) and Douglas Duane Morrison (Auburn, Washington).
He was also the proud uncle to John T. Grogan (St. Helens, Oregon), Chris Grogan (Kaiserslautern, Germany), Lindsay Grogan Luttrell (St. Helens, Oregon), Alex and Casey Morrison (Seattle, Washington) Daniel and Dana Morrison (Chesapeake, Virginia), Dante, Karen and Lily Grogan (St. Helens, Oregon) Julian Grogan (Germany), Bret and Jake Luttrell (St. Helens, Oregon).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Wayne Morrison and Karen Pauline Kessler Morrison.
A Celebration of Arthur’s life will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 7:00pm at Warren Community Fellowship [56523 Columbia River Hwy (Hwy 30) Warren, Oregon 97053]
A lighted balloon release and dessert reception will follow.
