Arzie F. Walters' Obituary
Arzie F. Walters was born on September 6, 1923 in Haskel, OK. to Jesse & Kathern Hinkle Walters.
He died at a St. Helens care center on December 26, 2004 at the age of 81.
He was educated in Texas, Colorado and Idaho, moving to St. Helens in '47. He was in the Army during WWII.
He married Madge in Reno, NV. on 1/26/43, she preceded him in death in '92. He married Iris on 3/8/97 in St. Helens, OR.
He was a member of the 1st Christian Church, he enjoyed bowling, was a hall of famer and the state bowling secretary. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include: Wife: Iris Walters: Children: Jean Smith; Arzie James Walters all of St. Helens, OR.; Bob Walters of Ilwaco, OR.; Sister Wanda Oberry of Clear Lake, CA.; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Viewing & Visitation: 9-5 Wednesday
Funeral Service: Thursday, 12/30/04 at 10:00 AM both at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens, OR.
Committal Service & Vault interment: Bethany Memorial Cemetery-Warren, OR.
