We were neighbors with Audrey and Cliff in Hillsboro. They used to sit in their lawn chairs after doing yardwork each week. Our family used to take walks with our young son Chance and would soon end up in their garage talking to them for hours each time laughing and having a great time. They became special friends and adopted grandparents since Chance's grandparents were 2.5 hours away. Cliff and Audrey often came over to dinner & to chat. My parents both passed away a couple of years after we moved into the neighborhood, Audrey & Cliff showed up at my parent's funeral even though they didn't even know them, just to give me support and share their love with us. Cliff's health wasn't very good & it was a lot of driving for one day. I was very touched seeing them there. After Cliff passed away, Audrey became a dinner guest every Sunday unless we were sick or out of town. If she wasn't feeling well, we delivered dinner to her. One day we came home from a trip and found Audrey at our house pulling our weeds and trimming shrubs just because she wanted to give service to us as a thank you. I will never forget Audrey and Cliff for their friendship, love, & service they rendered to us & others. We love and will miss you until we meet again. <3
