Barbara Adair Dahlgren's Obituary
Barbara Adair Dahlgren (Wilson) went to be with her Lord on July 28, 2016 at the age of 92.
Barbara was born on September 20, 1923 in Los Angeles, California to Vernard and Hannah Wilson. In 1948, she married the love of her life, John Dahlgren. Newly married they moved to Warren, Oregon where they had two children, Randy and Lisa. Barbara and John were also foster parents to five children. They were together until his death in 1998.
Barbara will always be remembered as a loving and caring person who reached out to the community she loved. Barbara was a charter member of Warren Community Fellowship and hosted a Bible study in her home every Sunday night. She loved traveling, painting, sewing, and taking trips to her beach house.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Dahlgren, her brother, Clayton Wilson who died in infancy. She is survived by her children, Randy (and Ginny) Dahlgren and Lisa Nickel, her sister, Shirley Horst, five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
A service will be held at Warren Community Fellowship on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Warren Community Fellowship.
