Bernadine M. Hall's Obituary
Bernadine M. Hall was born on March 28, 1922 in San Bernadino, CA. to Bennett I. & Geneva F. Mark Thayer.
She died at a St. Helens care center on March 12, 2008 at the age of 85.
She was educated and graduated from San Bernadino High School in 1940. She married Wesley L. Brown, later divorced and in 1953 married Edward C. Hall, Jr.; he preceded her in death in 1996.
She was a preschool teacher in San Diego for 12 years and her last years of teaching were in Alaska in the Anchorage School district for 5 years, retiring in 1978.
They moved to St. Helens in 1979 until 1983 when they moved to Laconia, New Hampshire until moving back to St. Helens in 1988 until present.
While living in Laconia she was active in the Laconia Womens Club. She attended Plymouth Presbyterian Church until her health failed her. Her interests included her artistry, she enjoyed water, oil and china painting. She was an avid gardener with an immaculate yard and of course her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include: Children: Bunnette Looney of Scappoose; Leo Hall of Eugene; Steve Brown of Yuma, AZ.; Edward Hall of LeMesa, CA.; Nancy Wetzel of Yorba Linda, CA.; Steven Hall of Peshastin, WA.; Sister: Kathryn Rorabaugh of Battleground, WA.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Private vault interment: Fairview Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
