Bernice Ann Kuhl's Obituary
Bernice Ann (Forcier) Kuhl, 94, died at home on October 5, 2022, surrounded by family.
She was born June 22, 1928, to Joe Forcier and Anna Jensen Forcier in Little Falls, Minnesota.
Bernice went through grade school in Minnesota and in the early forties the family moved to Sellwood, Oregon. She met Clifford Kuhl in 1946 and they were married on December 6, 1947, in Sherwood, Oregon. They moved to the Scappoose area in 1953 where Bernice was mostly a stay-at-home mom and grandmother. Bernice was also a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She raised two brothers, Robert and Donald, and a sister, Betty, who graduated from Scappoose High School. Bernice and Clifford were married for 63 years before Clifford preceded Bernice in death, passing away in 2011.
Bernice adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family meant the world to her. The entire family was blessed by her love, and she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy Forcier, Richard Forcier, Robert Forcier and Donald Forcier; sisters, Agnes Brown and Marion Vandecovering, and is survived by one sister, Betty Coblentz.
She is survived by three children, Marilyn Moffet, Dennis (Cathy) Kuhl, and Renee (Ed) Roth.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Robert (Kara) Kuhl, Cliff (Patti) Hall, Darci Hall, Melinda Berns, Melissa (Tony) Perri, Danielle (Kiley) Moore and Morgan (Sean) Casto; as well as 13 great grandchildren, Brody, Riley, Logan, McKenzie, Kayla, Tessa, Dylan, Ashley, Morgan, Carly, Melody, Alex, and Liam.
A private service will be held for immediate family only.
