I just happened to see the notice about Bertha's passing while looking for something else. It's Feb. now, so a few months have passed, but I wanted to say how much I admired Bertha, she was a very sweet lady. We used to serve on the mission board at the Congregational Church in Scappoose. One of the most important things I remember is she said she and Ed would pray together each morning, and already determine that they have forgiven one another for whatever transpires in the day.
