Bessie Lee Unversagt's Obituary
Bessie Lee Unversagt, a longtime resident of St. Helens died October 14, 2005 at Avamere. Bessie was born October 12, 1920 in Oakley, Idaho, the daughter of John and Myrtle Craft Carson. Bessie was a cashier for St. Helens Safeway for 15 years where she was a member of the Local 555 Retail Clerk's Union. She loved gardening her roses and vegetables. She is survived by her son, John of Clatskanie; her grandcon, Brandon Lee of Portland; two sisters, Billy Louise Lott of American Falls, Idaho and Genevieve Jewsbury of Twin Falls, Idaho. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Columbia Funeral Home. Interment will be at Hudson Cemetery, Rainier, Oregon
