Beth Elaine Waldron's Obituary
Lifelong St. Helens resident, Beth Elaine Waldron, passed away July 7, 2009 following a short illness. She was born October 12, 1932 in Portland Oregon and was adopted by John and Anna Halcomb of St. Helens; She graduated from St. Helens High School and married Nathan Waldron in 1950.
Beth was a homemaker, keeping busy with her children's and grandchildren's various activities. She also worked for several years at Sears & Roebuck. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time at casinos.
She will always be remembered for the twinkle in her eye, quick wit, and no nonsense attitude. The community will miss this sparkling and unique personality.
Her husband Nathan preceded her in death. Survivors include: daughter Barbara Hudson and her husband Gary of Columbia City; son, Michael Waldron of St. Helens; grandchildren, Aaron Hudson and his wife Jennifer and Courtney Leader and her husband Ed, four great grandchildren Cole, Makenzie, Nicholas, and Kaitlyn and her loving companion Robert Wright.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Legacy Hospice or the Humane Society.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens, Oregon.
