Betty L. Peterson's Obituary
Betty L. Peterson was born on May 25, 1924 in Bijou Hills, S. Dakota to Henry & Ida Ingenthron Kiehn.
She died at a Portland hospital on December 20, 2003 at the age of 79.
She was educated in S. Dakota, married Henry in Burke, S. Dakota on 8/5/41, he preceded her in death on July 7, 1996.
They moved to Columbia City in 1966 when they bought and operated the Heinies Restaurant for 20 years, they retired in 1986.
They moved to LaCenter, WA. in 1986-1996 when her husband died then she moved back to St. Helens until present.
Early on she enjoyed gardening, crocheting & sewing.
Survived by: Daughter: Ida Conner of Portland; Sons: Ronald of Washington; Curtis of Vancouver, WA.; Gary of St. Helens; Sister: Elizabeth Bunge of Rapis City, S. Dakota; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Friday December 26, 2003 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home
Committal service & interment: Skyline Memorial Gardens.
