Obituary of Billie Ray Beaston
A private family service was held at the family residence. Billie died at his home in Scappoose. He was66.
Billie was born June 26, 1943 at Sand Springs, Oklahoma to William Mae & Dorothy Wilma Gore Beaston. He was the eldest of 6 children. He is a graduate of Scappoose High School in 1961 and worked for Williams Air control for over 30 years, retiring in 2008. He was a jack of all trades, first love was botany. He sent a life time studying many of the plant and native trees of Oregon. His second love was Entomology, the study of insects.
He is survived by his mother; Dorothy Beaston, siblings; Charles Beaston of Scappoose, Pattsie Ebert of St. Helens, John Beaston, B. Laurie Turner and Timothy Beaston all of Scappoose.
He will be greatly missed by his family and those that really knew Billie.
