Bonita "Bonnie" Ruth Logsden Neathamer's Obituary
Bonita “Bonnie” Ruth Logsden Neathamer, 77, of St. Helens, Oregon passed away on October 27, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Bonita was born on March 16, 1946, in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Bonnie grew up and raised her family in Klamath Falls and moved to St. Helens in 1993. In college, she graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with an Associates of Applied Science with a major in Office Systems Technology.
In her free time, Bonnie enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking, and scrapbooking. She also spent time as a camp host at State Parks. In 2003, Bonnie made a Pilgrimage trip to Israel. She was a member of Warren Community Fellowship.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard Duane Neathamer; son Richard Daniel Neathamer and wife Barbara; daughter Cheryl Neathamer Learn and husband Bill; daughter Mendy Neathamer Hall and husband John; five grandsons; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and her sister Rhonda (Thom) Logsden Watson.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Ann Neathamer Moore.
Bonnie will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery in Happy Valley, Oregon. A celebration of life will be held at Warren Community Fellowship in Warren, Oregon on December 16, 2023, at 11:00 am. This will also be livestreamed on the church’s YouTube.
