Bonnie Rose (Larsen) Cullens' Obituary
Bonnie Rose (Larsen) Cullens passed away in St. Helens, Oregon on August 17th at the age of 84 of natural causes.
Bonnie is survived and lovingly remembered by her children Connie (Chuck) Hegele of Terrebonne, Oregon, Cristeen (Krzysztof) Trzesniewski of Zgierz, Poland, Ceven (Dixie) Cullens of Austin, Texas, and Chane (Rhonda) Cullens of Sandy Hook, Connecticut; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Lori Willis of Scappoose, and brothers Joe (Jeannette) Larsen of Hillsboro, and Jack (Janene) Larsen of Vancouver, sister in law Bonnie Larsen of Beaverton, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Don Cullens, sons Curt and Chuck Cullens, brother Bud Larsen, and sisters Donnie Hamilton and Jerrye Sucik.
Bonnie was born in Salkum, Washington, in 1930 to the late Pearl (Tomlinson) and Karl Larsen. She married Don Cullens in 1948 and they lived off Dutch Canyon Road in Scappoose from 1958 until Don’s death in 2006.
Bonnie worked for Safeway in St. Helens for 25 years. She enjoyed deer hunting with her family and friends, and working in her flower garden.
In lieu of a funeral service, there will be a family gathering at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland at a later date.
Bonnie’s family extends their gratefulness to Cecile Molden and her wonderful staff at Thanksgiving House in St. Helens for their excellent and loving care of Bonnie while she was there.
