Brian Lloyd McCarter's Obituary
Celebration of Life Gathering, 1PM, Sunday, July 8th at the St. Helens Oregon Trail Lanes Bowling Center. Brian passed away in St. Helens on Sunday, July 1st at the age of 43.
Brian Lloyd McCarter was born on November 2, 1968 in St. Helens to James Edward and Emma Jean Park McCarter, the youngest of four sons. Raised and schooled in St. Helens, he lived the majority of his life here.
He loved to play baseball starting with t-ball and going all the way through high school. After school he went to Alaska for several years employed with commercial fishing working up from a deck hand to the desired position of being deep container storage personnel on the fishing vessel Steller Sea. He worked in Salt Lake City from 1992 until 1997 as a maintenance man for an apartment complex before returning to St. Helens where he was the sales representative for Troy's Tree Trimming, his brother's business.
Brian enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, and being on the water. He was a lover of all animals and enjoyed watching almost any sports.
Brian is survived by his mom Emma McCarter of St. Helens, dad James of Portland, brothers; Ed and Troy of St. Helens and Guy of Salt Lake City, UT and companion Lori Kraft of St. Helens and six nieces and nephews.
