Goodbye Sue Happy Trails!
You were such a character and I loved working with you at St. Vincents Hospital in Billings. So many memories came flooding back reading your friends comments. The ear plug, the singing, the swearing and popping gum. They were a real part of who you were but your dedication to your work, your honesty, your brillant brain made you a fantastic nurse. We all loved you and feared you because we knew what you expected of us, the same thing you expected of yourself. The doctors listened when you spoke and you let them know when they needed to "buck up" and fly right. What a lady you were, spunky and sharp but I saw you tenderly care for a patient in ICU, fight for a life and then hold a little one tenderly when the child's tears were flowing. Thank you for seeing potential in me I didn't see.I won't say go quietly to the beyond. You have never done that but I will say make sure you let them know you are there because you are well worth knowing!##imported-begin##Carol Henckel##imported-end##
