Obituary of Bruce Edwin Nysetvold
Celebration of Life Gathering will be held, 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 23rd at the Varsity Grill & Bar, Scappoose, Oregon. Bruce passed away October 7th in Portland. He was 56 years old.
Bruce was born March 19, 1954 in Bremerton, Washington to Paul Jerome and Betty Mae Wien Nysetvold. He was the youngest of 3 children and graduated from Bremerton High School in 1973. Bruce married Cosette Lynn Houdek in Reno, December 1, 1991. He worked for Multnomah Plywood for over 20 years nad then was a general contractor for Joey Kessi Construction from 1990 until his illness in 2005. He has lived in the local area for over 25 years.
Bruce is survived by his wife; Cosette, daughter; Lyndsy Nysetvold of St. Helens, Stepchildren; Jennifer Houdek of Portland and Nicholas Chappelle of Scappoose. Grandchildren; Davon and Cameron Chappelle, Savannah Thomas, siblings; Lori Nysetvold and Jerry Nysetvold both of Silverdale, Washington.
