Obituary of Bryce Allen Stoneking
Please join us in Remembering Bryce 2pm, Sunday, January 8th at the Pavilion at the Columbia County Fairgrounds, 58892 Sausler Road, St. Helens. Bryce died December 20th; he was 16 years of age.
Bryce was born, May 6, 1995 in Portland, Oregon to Kurt Russell and Corrina Lea Bunn Stoneking. He was the youngest of 4 children. Raised in St. Helens; Bryce attended Yankton, Warren and Peterson Schools, St. Helens Middle School and was in his junior year at St. Helens High School. Bryce enjoyed playing rugby for the Columbia Country Operators for the past two years, and he collected knives, enjoyed camping and fishing with his family, grandparents and great uncles. He had taken hunter and gun safety courses to prepare to go hunting.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund in Bryce's name has been established at St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union. The funds will be used to aid in the continuation of Rugby here in Columbia County, a sport and team who gave so much to him.
Bryce is survived by his parents; Kurt Stoneking of Vancouver and Corrina Stoneking of St. Helens, Sisters; Jessica Walker of Scappoose, Kaylea Watkins of Seattle and Jocelyn Stoneking of St. Helens, Grandparents; Doug and Jane Stoneking of Aloha, Keith and Barbara Bunn of St. Helens, Aunts; Robyn Greene, Crystal Stoneking and Lisa Al-Naimi, Niece Korah Walker, his cousins Megan, & Amanda, and others, plus many great aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
