Buddy B. Jones' Obituary
Buddy Buck Jones was born on December 10, 1932 in Ramona, Oklahoma to Homer & Ethel Workman Jones.
He died at a Scappoose Care Center on March 26, 2012 at the age of 79.
Buddy Moved to Oregon as a young man attending school in Pilot Rock, Oregon. He was in the US Army during Korea, discharged in 1958.
He married Mary Weaver in Farmington, N. Mexico on July 13, 1959. They lived in Utah and moved to Columbia County in the 1960's and have lived here since. She preceded him in death in 2005.
He worked for Alder Creek Lumber, Pope & Talbot and retired from Crown Zellerbach in 1997.
Buddy attended Columbia Christian Church, was a member of the Elks, enjoyed tinkering with cars.
Survivors include: Sons: Ron, Randy, Ricky, Roy & Brian Jones all of St. Helens; Daughter: Brenda Jalo of Portland; Preceded in death by 3 siblings: Bob & Howard Jones, Evelyn Porter; 3 Grandchildren.
Funeral Services: Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home Committal Service & Vault Interment:
Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, Oregon.
