Carl Edwin Simons' Obituary
Carl "Ed" Edwin Simson was a ninety year resident of St. Helens, He passed away on Friday, October 20, 2006 at the age of 94.
He was born on May 26, 1912 in Seattle, WA. and moved with his family to St. Helens around 1915.
He married Margaret Mattson in 1940 and he retired from work in 1968 after a long career as a master mechanic with Pope and Talbot and Crown Zellerbach.
He was well known as a man who could fix anything, including the house that he and Margaret lived in for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret; his only son: Mark; Sisters: Elsie Creamer and Edith Rabenecker; Grandchildren: Mike, Matt, Brooke and Brett; Great Grandchildren: Katie and Natalie; and many other great family and friends.
A gathering for celebrating his life will be held for friends and family at Ed & Margarets home on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 2:00 PM.
