Carol June (Wiss) Hoag's Obituary
Carol was born September 17, 1943 in Hillsboro Oregon to Bob and Evelyn. She was the oldest of 10 children. As a young girl she loved spending time with her Grandma Mock on the farm and Granny Wiss in Lincoln City. Her family moved to Scappoose where she graduated from Scappoose High School in 1961. In 1962 Carol married her High School sweetheart Harold Hoag and had 4 wonderful children. Carol loved her Lord and dedicated her life to her church and spreading the word. When she was 42 years old she went back to school and got her Nursing Degree. She wrote a book detailing highlights of important memories of her life a few years back and the theme throughout was her passion for her Lord, memories of the farm that she raised her children on and spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Harold Hoag, her 4 children Peggy (Bob Annalora) Hoag, Dana (Kevin) Rosa, Daniel (Sarah) Hoag and David (Jane) Hoag, her 7 grandchildren Nick, Hunter, Haley, Alexa, Jackson, Katelyn, Kristen and 3 great grandchildren Anthony, Emilia and Skyla. She is preceded in death by her father Robert Wiss, her mother Evelyn Grochowski, her siblings Stanley, Hugh and Helen.
A private graveside service will be held to honor Carol’s life.
