Caroline Adelaide Beatty's Obituary
Caroline passed away at her home in St. Helens, Thursday, February 17th. She was 92 years of age.
Born March 16, 1918 in Shenandoah, Iowa to Harl Tredwell and Lillie E. Brown Hawkins, Sr., she was the eldest of six children. Raised and schooled in Omaha, Nebraska, Caroline graduated from North High School in 1936. In 1946 she married Thomas Anthony Monaco, in Wilsonville, he died in 1955. She later married Everett Cleo Beatty in Warren. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Caroline worked for J.C. Penny's as an Office Secretary from 1941- 1943 in Omaha and 1943-1946 in Portland, Oregon. She also worked at the Multnomah County Library, Gregory Heights as a Senior Clerk and Librarian.
Caroline is survived by her children; Betty McDonnell, Tom Monaco, Carol Senter and Terri Monaco all of St. Helens. Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Brothers; James Hawkins of Sacramento, CA and Harl Hawkins, Jr. Of Redmond, Oregon.
