Caroline Sue Leskela's Obituary
Caroline Sue Felton Leskela passed away at an Ashland Hospital on June 4 from complications following surgery. She was 67 years old.
Caroline was born in Inglewood, California on December 24, 1944 to Robert and Betty Westover Stickler. She moved to St. Helens at the age of 15 and graduated from St. Helens High School. It was there she met Elon Felton, and they married after graduation. They had two children April and Elon.
Caroline went on to become a hairdresser and loved her job. She taught beauty school before retiring.
Caroline enjoyed decorating, cooking, and gardening. She loved animals, especially her dogs Rocco, Tootsie, and kitty Ziggy.
Caroline was an amazing mom, wife, and friend she will be greatly missed by all.
Caroline is survived by her loving husband of 12 years Jim Leskela; they were married in Lincoln City on July1, 2000.
Caroline is lovingly remembered by her daughter April Bowers of The Dalles Or., son Elon Felton of Portland, Brother Mike Stickler of St. Helens and granddaughter McKenzie Bowers of Roseburg.
Caroline is preceded in death by her father Robert Stickler and mother Betty Stickler.
Graveside services were held at Columbia Memorial Gardens on August 27.
