Carolyn D. Jennings' Obituary
Carolyn D. Jennings was born on January 7, 1939 in Deer River, Minnesota to Ivan and Vivian Baird Doty. She died peacefully at home in Scappoose on November 8, 2009.
As a young girl she moved with her family to Portland in 1952. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1956. Three years later she married Robert Jennings on September 11, 1959. They had just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Carolyn worked in the Human Resources department of Benchmark Electronics; taking medical retirement in 1999. Three years ago, Carolyn and Robert moved to Scappoose.
She was a devoted wife and mother of three daughters and loved animals. Carolyn is survived by her husband; daughters: Renee Minock and husband, Robert; Roxanne Verrelli and husband, David; and Rachelle Kendle – - six grandchildren – and , 1 great-grandchild and brothers: Tommy and Gary Doty.
A Celebration of Carolyn's life will be on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens. A reception will follow at Springlake Park in Scappoose.
