Carrol A. Bryant's Obituary
Carrol A. Bryant was born on August 20, 1923 in Norton Co. Kansas to Clarence & Zoie Cochran Bryant.
He died at his home in St. Helens on April 24, 2006 at the age of 82.
He attended schools in Norton, Kansas. Married to Georgie Donnelly in Oberlin, Kansas on October 4, 1941. He was in the Army from '44-'46 in WWII in the South Pacific.
They moved to Winters, CA. in 1967, to Woodland CA. in 1972 for 40 years; also lived in Klamath Falls, OR.; Portland, OR. They moved to St. Helens on November 1, 2004.
He worked as a technician for U.C. Davis veterinary medicine in Davis, CA., retiring in 1990.
He was a member of the American Legion/VFW in Norton, Kansas and Woodland, CA. He enjoyed gardening, collecting and was a jack of all trades.
Survivors include: Wife: Georgie Bryant of St. Helens; Children: Gloria Aldinger & Donald Bryant both of Klamath Falls; Carrol Bryant, Jr. of Elverta, CA.; Diana McLaughlin of St. Helens; Brother: Elton Bryant of Norton, Kansas; 10 grandchildren: 20 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a sister: Berniece Sweeley-'02 and 2 daughters at birth.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Park Community Church-St. Helens.
