Charles A. Cole's Obituary
Charles A. Cole was born on November 27, 1925 in Baggs, Wyoming to Roy & Audrey McLaughlinCole.
He died at his home in Woodburn, OR. on September 10, 2004 at the age of 78.
He was educated in California, attended Laney College in Oakland, CA.
He worked for Chevron Research for 20 years, retiring in 1971, worked construction for a few years, then a pipefitter for Local #290, retiring in 1980.
He married Dortha in 1940, she preceded him in death in 1988. He married Muriel on March 13, 1991.
He lived on the East coast, the Tri-cities, St. Helens for 2 years and most recently, Woodburn for the last 15 years.
His religious denomination was LDS. He was also a veteran in the US Coast Guard in WWII, a 32nd degree mason, a shriner, member of the Elks and Moose Lodges. His interests included golfing, T.V. Westerns and Water sports, He also collected belt buckles.
Survivors include: Wife-Muriel Cole of Woodburn, OR.; Children: Ronald Cole of St. Helens, Pamela Cole of LaCenter, WA.; Donald Cole of Longview, WA.; Brother: Vern Cole of Idaho Falls, ID.; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.; Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 1:00 PM.
