Charles G. Anderson's Obituary
Charles G. Anderson was born on April 14, 1918 in S. Milwaukie, Wisconsin to Gerald & Clara Hess Anderson.
He died at Avamere Assisted Living Center in St. Helens, Oregon on August 10, 2011 at the age of 93.
Charles was educated in Wisconsin, moved to Foster, Oregon at the age of 17. He met and married Wilma Rae Mickenham in Lebanon, Oregon on November 12, 1939. She preceded him in death on February 22, 1986.
They moved to St. Helens in 1960, then on to Warren until present.
He was a member of the Christian Church of St. Helens, the Elks Lodge, while in Sweet Home, OR-a member of the fire department. His interests included gardening, farming, animals, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Nancy Gustafson of St. Helens; Shirley Dennis of Stettler, Alberta, Canada; Sister: Clara Conti of S. Milwaukie, Wisconsin; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a son Charles Gerald preceded him in death in Feb. Of 1950.
Celebration of Life: Monday, August 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM at The Christian Church of St. Helens.
Private Crypt Entombment: Portland Memorial Mausoleum-Portland, Oregon
