Charles J. Fredin's Obituary
Charles J. Fredin was born on November 14, 1923 in Deer Island, Oregon to Carl & Elsie Beldoe Fredin.
He died at a St. Helens care center on September 8, 2008 at the age of 84.
He graduated from St. Helens Hi School in 1942 and went into the Army from 1943-1946. He lived all of his life in the area.
He worked for the Boise Paper Mill for 30 years, retiring in 1980.
He married Joaen Deihl in 2001 at his home in St. Helens.
He was a member of the Masons, Shriners and the Elks.
Survivors include: Wife: Joaen Fredin of St. Helens; stepsons: Harvey Buzbee of St. Helens; Larry Buzbee of California; 3 nephews and 2 step grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Friday, September 12, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home
Committal service & vault interment: Kinder Cemetery-Deer Island, Oregon.
Reception to follow at the Elks Lodge.
