Charles Raymond Powell's Obituary
Charles L. Powell was born on November 14, 1936 in Franklinton, N. Carolina to Raymond & Carrie Neal Powell.
He died at a Longview, Washington hospice care center on March 16, 2011 at the age of 74.
Charles attended and graduated from Franklinton High School in 1955. He was brought to Idaho with the Air Force where he met and married Kay Moore on March 17, 1957 in Nampa, Idaho. They moved to Scappoose in 1966 from Nampa, Idaho where they have resided for 45 years. Living in Scappoose & Warren while working in Portland.
He retired from Terminal 4 Cereal Foods in Portland in 2004.
Charles enjoyed gardening and sports.
Survivors include: Wife of 45 years: Kay Powell; Daughters & thier families; Tamara Werderber John; Robin Baer Allen; Grandchildren: Sonja, Joseph & Jillian Werderber; and Nicholas & Matthew Baer all of Warren, OR.
Open House at the family home at 33684 Rodney St. Warren. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 1-5.
