Obituary of Charles Robert Burchinal
Graveside services will be held, 1 PM, Tuesday, July 6th at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, OR.
Charles passed away, June 28th at Portland, Oregon. He was 88 years old.
Charles was born May 1, 1922 at Worthington, West Virginia to Lester and Ruth Wilson Burchinal. He Served in the US Army in WWII and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He worked for several years at Boise Cascade until he retired at 65 years of age. He then moved to Medford and started a plumbing service; C.B. Plumbing and worked it until he retired again after 18 years in 2009. Charles had a lot of activities he enjoyed, but the love of Motorcross was his passion. He rode for several years in races around the Northwest including Vancouver, Canada.
He is survived by his children; Bob Burchinal of Phoenix, AZ and Debra Peterson of Scappoose, Oregon.
