Christian Evert Moilanen's Obituary
Christian Evert Moilanen was born on July 28, 1975 to William & Shirley Hackelberg Moilanen.
He died on October 1, 2008 in St. John's at the age of 33.
Christian attended Sitton Grade School, George Middle School and 3 years at Benson High School. Received his GED at Central Washington University.
He lived most of his life in the St. John's area of Portland and was a fast food & restaurant cook, a heavy equipment operator and Fire Firghter in the Job Corps, and a Carney traveling with the carnivals.
His enjoyments included animals, cooking, beer. He had a big heart and was very personable.
Survivors include: Parents: Shirley Jarrett and Step Father Brendan Cavanagh of Portland, Father: William Moilanen of Portland; Daughter: Carol-liyne of Portland; Siblings: David Moilanen of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; Bonnie Cavanagh & Kayla Moilanen both of Portland; 2 nephews; 3 nieces, uncles & aunts and extended family around the country.
Graveside service & interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens; Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM.
