Clara A. Mattson was born on December 4, 1921 in Conneaut, Ohio to Charles & Kate Randall Daniels
She died at a Portland hospital on December 14, 2004 at the age of 83.
She attended and was a graduate of St. Helens Hi School, living in St. Helens for most of her life until the mid-1950's.
Married to Robert in Vancouver, WA. on 6/22/40, he preceded her in death in 1993.
They lived in Klamath Falls and Astoria while owning thier businesses. They retired to Arizona and then settled in King City, OR.
She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church and enjoyed reading.
Survived by Daughters: Judith Sandsness of Welches, OR.; Merri Sue Padgett of Tigard, OR.; Sheri Kay Coonrod of Albany, OR.; Roberta Jo Matson of Tigard, OR.; Sisters: Kay Erickson of San Jacinto, CA.; Viola Webber of Cottage Grove, OR.; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Monday, December 20, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens, OR.
Private interment: Bethany Memorial Cemetery-Warren, OR.
