Clara LaVonne Icenogle November 21,1932 ~ December 31, 2017
Clara Icenogle passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, December 31,2017.
She lived for 85 years and although not all those years were easy, Clara was quick-witted and had a special talent for turning difficult times into hilarious stories- even if those stories were at her own expense. If something strange or bizarre was going to happen, it always seemed to happen to her. Between bingo daubers exploding and fly balls landing in her lap, she was always able to find humor in life.
She was a great buddy to have around, always eager to listen and offer advice or help when she could, or just take a quick trip to the store or casino. She was married for 58 years to the love of her life, Charles (Chuck) Icenogle, with whom she had 3 sons, and eventually grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many, but we take comfort in knowing that she and Chuck are reunited once again.
Following Clara’s wishes, there will be no service to follow.
