Clifford Stanley "Stan" Tolman's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Clifford Stanley Tolman (“Stan”), who passed on March 31, 2025, in Lone Pine, Montana.
Stan was born in Eugene, Oregon, on March 17, 1948, to Clifford Earl Tolman and Laura M Chapman. He attended Siuslaw and Scappoose High Schools, and married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen Friedenberg, in 1967, later serving his country in the Army in the 101st Airborne division during the Vietnam war. He worked for Boise Cascade in St. Helens, Oregon, for nearly 35 years as a welder / pipe fitter, and moved to Lone Pine, Montana, after retirement.
Stan is survived by his sisters Laura Roberts and Virginia Phipps, brother Charlie Ingram, son Travis Tolman, daughter Mary Tolman, grandchildren Garrett, Desiree, Ruger, Regan, and Jesse, great grandson Bo, and beloved nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Kathleen, brother Donnie Tolman, and sister Sue Harris.
