Corinne A. Humbird of St. Helens, passed away on September 11, 2014 at the age of 81. She was born July 17, 1933 in Garibaldi, Oregon to John and Hazel (Warner) Richmond.
Corrine grew up and attended school in Portland, graduating from Roosevelt High School. On January 7, 1951 Corrine married Robert J. Humbird in Portland, they later moved to St. Helens in 1971.
Corrine worked as a school secretary, having worked at Condon and McBride Schools. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Delta Kappa Gama Sorority and she volunteered for RSVP. In her spare time Corrine enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking, baking, and traveling especially on cruises.
She is survived by her son Jeff Humbird and her daughter Betzy Penziol, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death in death by her husband Robert in 1990.
A Graveside Service was held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon on Monday, September 15, 2014. Donations in her name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1650 NW Naito Pkwy # 190, Portland, OR 97209.
