Dale J. Housley's Obituary
Dale J. Housley was born on March 5, 1921 in Freedom, Nebraska to Walter & Mary Cozad Housley.
He died on Sunday, August 24, 2008 in his sleep at Avamere in St. Helens at the age of 87.
He was in the Army from July of 1942 to December of 1945.
Dale & the Housley families have been longtime residents of St. Helens.
He drove truck for 35 years for Farney Truck service, milk truck for Standard Dairy and at Bemis Bag Factory where he met his wife to be Anna Mae Nickelson. They were married in Vancover, WA. on August 10, 1946. She preceded him in death in 2005.
Survivors include: Children: Regina Mae Housley of Carmarilla, CA.; Dale Housley of Silver City, N. Mexico; Larry Housley of Tillamook, OR.; Don Housley of Scappoose, OR.; Siblings: Clifford Housley of Hillsboro, OR.; Daniel Housley of Denver, CO.; Eva Margaret Ginther of Greeley, CO.; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
