Dan was my brother. We were born 15 months apart and were not just close in age but also in spirit. We were the "two little redheads" growing up. I will miss how you energized a room during family gatherings, always bringing too much food, our "quick" 30 minute phone calls and just having you there to listen. When we were little and saying our prayers before bed, Dan thought that the reason you put your hands together in front of your mouth while praying was because it created a microphone so that God could hear you. I hope he was right.
