Daniel LeRoy Rigdon's Obituary
Daniel LeRoy Rigdon was born on March 1, 1963 in Tacoma, Washington to Ollie & Sherden Long Rigdon.
He died at his home in St. Helens on November 6, 2007 at the age of 44.
He was educated and graduated from St. Helens High School in 1981 and received an Associates Degree from Portland State.
He lived in the Portland area for alot of his life and most recently St. Helens.
He was a trainer for Vocational Rehabilitation for 9 years. He created and received a Governors award for the START Program. He was always dedicated to helping people in recovery and getting back on thier feet.
His enjoyments included: Jeeping, long drives, music, collecting pigs and stuffed animals, decorating his home. But his children were first in his life, he was an enthusiastic grandpa.
Survivors include: Parents: Ollie & Sherden Rigdon of Columbia City, OR.; Children: Jamie Long & Trevor Rigdon both of St. Helens; Siblings: Becky Clark of St. Helens; Debra Rigdon of Kent, WA.; 1 grandchild: Anistyn Long.
Graveside service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens: Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 2:00 PM.
