To Darin and his Family
Life brings us many people
Whom we have the joy to know
But ones that are very special
Are those whose acquaintance we have made
They may not be as close as friends
Or share our deepest thoughts
But life would be a lesser thing
If it were not for the acquaintances we make
An acquaintance is a special person
Whom we are lucky enough to know.
How glad I am that Darin was a part of my school years growing up. We were never close friends but did exchange a hello and a smile in the passing or the halls or while sitting in class.I had few conversations with Darin as his road to travel was different road than mine, but I do remember him as a quite, kind and very giving person. The thing I remember most about Darin was his shy smile.I do not know what kind of man he grew up to be but I'm sure he was someone to be proud of. As a former classmate I have wondered about Darin over the years and it sadens me to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family and may he RIP as he will be forever young and live always in hearts.
